Hi, I’m Kate and I’m the owner of Sew Creative in Altrincham!

My background is in fashion and, after working in the industry for some time, I then made the decision to train to be a Textiles teacher. I set up Sew Creative in 2016 after being asked several times if I would teach friends and family how to sew and I have been teaching workshops ever since.

At Sew Creative we run a variety of different lessons for children, teens and adults.  There are also regular school holiday clubs. 

Why learn to sew with Sew Creative?

A new approach to sewing and dressmaking classes!

All of the sessions are ‘free sew’, where each individual is able to choose what they would like to make – instead of everyone making the same item. This gives you the freedom to go at your own pace and make something your would actually use – suitable for both absolute beginners and advanced seamstresses. Classes are also very small, allowing everyone to have as much, or as little, tuition as they require.

With a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and plenty of tea and biscuits, what’s not to love?!

Creative Stitchers is located near Knutsford, Cheshire and offers a variety of sewing workshops, courses and 1-2-1 tuition, from the basics to the more advanced. Classes are taught by Sue who has a lifetime of sewing experience and is also a member of the Guild of Master Craftsman.

Student numbers are kept low in each class so that you get maximum tuition.
