Beautiful Things offers sewing and craft tuition from its base in Brentwood, Essex.

It’s owner Claire Mackaness offers both group and One2One sewing classes from beginners ‘Getting to know your sewing machine’ to patchwork and soft furnishings. Outside tutors are also brought in to offer a range of unusual and interesting new crafts such as Decopatch, dichroic Glass fusing, goldwork and embroidery, felt making and dressmaking.

If there is a particular sewing technique or craft that you would like to learn, Claire will do her best to either instruct you herself or source you a suitable tutor.

Classes run during the day and in the evening and are suitable for all levels and ages. During school holidays special sessions are added to the timetable for parent and child sessions as well as children’s classes.
