All About the Sew

Location: Solihull, Midlands
Contact: Lorna Hulme

All About the Sew sewing workshops set up by Lorna Hulme are up and running in the Solihull area. Maybe you have never sewn before and the thought of sewing a button on brings you out in a cold sweat, you sewed 20 years ago at school and would like to have another go or you enjoy general crafts and would like to try something new – there will be a class to suit you, just come along and have a go. You will be hooked in no time!

Lorna wants to share her passion of sewing with others by encouraging people to come together, learn a new skill, make something they are proud of and most importantly enjoy themselves. Class sizes are small with a maximum of 5 people to allow lots of guidance and support from Lorna. Classes include the use of Janome sewing machines, basic sewing tools and fabric in a lot of the workshops. Lorna has achieved the Level 1 NCFE in Dressmaking and Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
